WEARVR Remastered Competition Terms & Conditions
The promoter is: WEARVR LLC whose registered office is at WEARVR LLC, 171 17th Street NW, Suite 1550, Atlanta, GA 30363.
The competition is open to residents of all countries and territories, aged 18 years or over except employees and their close relatives of any companies connected with the organization or judging of the competition.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Only one entry will be accepted per person, unless otherwise detailed within the competition rules, such as in the use of any integral referral marketing opportunities.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for any reason.

The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
Re-develop, enhance and otherwise update virtual reality games, apps or content that you (the entrant) originally created for the Oculus Rift development kits (“DK1” and “DK2”). Said content should not, upon entering the competition, be compatible with contemporary VR platforms such as the Oculus Rift CV1 or HTC Vive. The entrant may make the content compatible with any available virtual reality platforms currently available for commercial sale as part of this competition, but must include the Oculus Rift CV1 as a compatible platform in the content’s remastering. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
The prize is as follows: Up to $2,500 for the winning entry or entries in various categories or genres, which will be determined by the promoter as competition entries are submitted. Selection of categories, genres, winners and the categories under which entries are placed is at the discretion of the promoter and/or the competition’s elected judges.
All entries must be submitted in full to WEARVR via an approved Developer Account no later than 12:00PM, 1st May, 2018 (BST). It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that a WEARVR Developer Account is in place and approved ahead of the submission deadline: https://www.wearvr.com/developer-center
All entries must be listed and hosted on the WEARVR.com website before the submission deadline, and remain exclusive to the WEARVR app store until July 31st 2018.
The prize is as stated and no other alternatives will be offered.The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by US law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the US.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image, or that of the company or studio under which an entry is submitted to the competition, in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current US data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
The promoter’s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
The entrant must meet all aspects of the competitions rules in order to enter.
The promoter shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
The promoter also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
